Nikki has been styling and coloring hair for more than 20 years. She was a frequent and sought-after Redken Performing Artist, and helped develop the latest trends, which she shared with stylists around the country. Nikki’s passion and noted expertise is in hair color, especially creating natural, multi-dimensional looks. Her strengths include short haircuts, cutting curly hair and creating classic styles with an edge. Nikki’s work has been featured in Baltimore Style magazine, and she has been named one of the top stylists by Baltimore Magazine.

Level 4 Stylist

Maya has been “behind the chair” for more than 20 years, always making continued education a priority. She has attended advanced color classes in New York, hands-on cutting classes with Vidal Sassoon and regularly joins trend classes to keep up to date with new styles. Her attention to detail assures that clients will receive a unique style.

Lauren Nelson
Lauren Nelson, Level 1 Stylist

As a part of the NV Salon Collective team for the past three years, Lauren managed to work her way through Robert Paul Academy of Cosmetology. During this time, she extended her education by working beside her fellow stylists and learning in school and at the salon simultaneously. With a strong basis in traditional techniques, Lauren is excited to share the skills she gathered while also adding her personal, trendy take to give you a fresh new style. A passion for both hair cutting and make up application allow her to offer you a full look. You can see some of her work in the Women of Hampden Calendar of 2016. She continues to thrive and learn to make sure her clients receive the style they desire.

As an up an coming stylist in the Hampden neighborhood, my surroundings are a true influence in my inspiration. I love to express my creativity especially through hair color whether it's subtle or dramatic. I enjoy pushing my boundaries to stay universal and open minded in all things I do behind the chair.
