How to Glam Up the Ponytail

In our very busy world, sometimes it’s difficult to find a way to look polished because we have so little time for ourselves. Taking inspiration from the runways of New York, We have three looks which you can create easily and quickly at home. Each look starts with a ponytail.

To create this look as seen on the Tony Burch runway, all you need is an elastic, a few bobby pins and three minutes. Sprinkle Bumble and bumble Pret a Powder onto the roots and ends of dry hair. Create a low, loose ponytail. Pin the ends of the pony tail up in small sections to create an unstructured bun. Instant modern polish!

Proenza Schouler showed us a very sophisticated look that can easily go day to evening. On clean dry hair, apply Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil from root to ends. Create a center part and smooth hair into a low ponytail. Tightly braid the ponytail, and secure the ends.

For a flirty, more casual approach we look to Oscar De La Renta. Bumble and bumble’s City Swept Finish will offer the right texture to create a more textured feel. Pull hair loosely to the nape and secure gently with an elastic. The polish in this look is achieved with a black ribbon. Choose your accessory to match your outfit. Flowers, a leather strap, a colorful ribbon. Whatever inspires you.
